Integrated cash account

When you open a Macquarie Prime Facility an integral feature is the Macquarie Prime integrated cash account.

The integrated cash account is your own online bank account. It is used for funding transactions, making payments and meeting margin requirements in relation to your investment activities within your Prime Facility.

The Macquarie Prime integrated cash account offers you:

Interest paid to you if you have a positive Funds Balances at a variable rate currently 4.25%pa^~
Interest charged to you if you have borrowed to invest and have a negative Funds Balances at a variable rate currently 8.70%pa^~
Free online fund transfers
No account keeping fees^~

When you borrow to invest, using the optional Loan Facility, any funds you deposit will increase your Funds Balance. Hence if you have a negative Funds Balance you can reduce the interest charged by depositing additional funds.

Macquarie Prime offers real-time professional technical analysis tools on the trading platform.

The charting tools available with Macquarie Prime include:

The easy to use back-testing and money management module allows you to create and test trading strategies. You can test your trading system and pre-define money management parameters.

The main features of the back-testing & money management tools are:

Pre-define stop loss orders (including trailing, profit and inactivity stops)
Pre-define your capital outlay

There is no additional fee to access the charting tools^{^}.
